Upload
these files to a directory on your website that is dedicated
only to the ASPdatabase.net application. It is strongly recommended
that this directory not be used for any other files and that
its location is not made known publicly.
(example: http://www.mywebsite.com/backoffice/)
The folder that you use for this application is required to
have write permission. You will need to contact your hosting
provider to have write permission set if it is not already before
this application will work.
The folder databases includes a sample database file
and a blank database file. |
Once these
files have been uploaded to your website use
Internet Explorer to access the webpage called install.asp.
If the location you uploaded the files to is: http://www.mywebsite.com/backoffice/
then type:
http://www.mywebsite.com/backoffice/install.asp into
your web browser.
This install webpage will guide you the rest of the way and
then you'll be ready to login and begin using ASPdatabase.net
with your database on your website. |
